We will request authority as agent for VAT with HMRC - this will enable us to speak to them on your behalf.  However if you have VAT on your company's HMRC portal you may find it easier and quicker to invite us through your portal.   

To invite us as agent you need to log into your HMRC Government Gateway account.  Follow the instructions below:

Click on 'Manage account':

Click on 'Accountants'

Click on 'Add or change accountant'

Against 'Submit VAT Returns, click on 'Add an agent'

Enter our agent code - BaldwynWard-NBIN1W13BV1U - and click Continue

Ensure our Agent name says 'Baldwyn Ward' and select 'Add agent':

You should then see the following screen:

You will then appear on our portal within 24 to 72 hours.  Please let us know once you have done this so we can keep an eye out on our portal!

Please note that this still doesn't allow HMRC to discuss your affairs with them - we will still need to apply for our usual authority to do that!
