Expenses paid by you personally

If you are using FreeAgent or Xero, then we recommend you record any expenses paid by you personally in the bookkeeping system.

And you can use the workbooks here to keep a record of any such expenses.

On the other hand, if you're using one of our excel templates to record the partnership income and expenses, you can just include any expenses on this workbook however they were paid.  We will normally send you an excel template to use to record your expenses and you can see how this works here.
